Hey,
I'm on my typical Sunday depression spree again. I hate Sundays.
Anyways, tonight I have been thinking on the cynicism currently in the world today. It's a wonder that the world hasn't swallowed humanity whole. The way we treat each other is disgusting. Tonight I'm especially disgusted by all the hate being aimed toward America during the multiple crises going on in the world right now. The disasters in Japan and the uprisings in the middle east are creating a lot of hate toward America.
Listen, I'm American, so you're probably thinking that I'm another fat American oil-hogging pig spewing his nationalist opinions on his YouTube channel's blog page. But my opinions are relevant and logical. There are things about America that I like and things about it that I don't like.
Look at this video's comments section. Honestly it makes me sick to my stomach to see the crap that the Eastern Europeans are spewing. America is intervening in Libya because a ruthless dictator is killing his own people for wanting freedom. If you have a problem with that then go fuck yourself. You can sit in your basement and make up shitty conspiracies that don't make sense but all you are is blind. The truth is right in front of you. I hate people that think that there is a hidden truth behind everything. The United States is attacking Libya and setting up a puppet government for free oil? After all, all Americans are fat, rich, oil-guzzling pigs that only care about themselves. After all, the BILLIONS OF DOLLARS GIVEN IN AID TO NATURAL DISASTER RELIEF AND TO LESS-FORTUNATE COUNTRIES (INCLUDING NORTH KOREA) ARE JUST LIES! Right? Am I right? /sarcasm.
You want the truth? Turn on CNN and watch for a while. Go to YouTube and look at the atrocities being documented by people on the streets of Libya. There is no hidden reason for any war! Why is the US in Afghanistan? Because the expanding terrorist network there killed over 3,000 Americans on September 11, 2001. Why are there so many terrorists in the Middle East? Because false rumors and state media (like what Gadhafi is using) are infecting the minds of the people there. America and her allies (<3 goes to Canada, Britain, France, etc...) want freedom for everybody? Why is America a "world cop?" Because somebody has to stop the atrocities occurring all over the world. Why isn't the US intervening everywhere there is a crisis? Because America does not have the capacity to be everywhere. It's up to the people to choose freedom. "I'd rather die fighting on my feet than live begging on my knees."
Believe it or not, America was once like Libya. The colonists here did not like the unfair ruling of the British, so they started a revolution. The rag-tag group of untrained revolutionaries had significant victories against the British, and the then-world cop France stepped in to help. America was quiet for a while after that and then grew to where it is today. (I'm not hating on the British. Calm down, we tight dawgs).
I actually had a really weird dream last night that now makes a lot of sense. I was in Libya on the ground fighting pro-Gadhafi forces (there's like 20 spellings for "Gadhafi"). I was taking out snipers on the rooftops when a giant military-machine like thing picked me up and set me down next to a small boy. Then Gadhafi appeared. The little boy loved to do some sort of jumping thing before the revolution in Libya, but was not able to do it during the revolution. Gadhafi then won the boy's support by allowing him to do his jumping thing. The boy's family was in the Rebel army in a building nearby. Gadhafi took the boy away. When I woke up I realized that my dream had a lot of symbolism. Gadhafi is winning support by trying to give people freedom that they never had before. However, this freedom is false and the ones that realize that are rebelling against him.
Back to some of my past opinions: Why is the US not intervening everywhere in the world? Because Libyan rebels are making an attempt to fight back. The people need to choose freedom before world powers can move in to help. Now that coalition air strikes are taking place, the rebels are advancing toward Tripoli and capturing cities along the way. Just like France helped the United States during the US's period of revolution.
That's enough typing for tonight. I just wrote a book. Wow.
I think I'll leave here on a song that really describes today's events:
Father father father help us with some guidance from above. These people got me got me questioning, where is the love?
I don't agree with the "media telling lies and where is the truth?" section, but the rest of the song holds a relevant message.
Goodnight, folks.

P.S.-MLG EXTREME might be late tomorrow. I have it recorded but I wasn't home today to edit and render it. Might be uploaded on Tuesday.
